Could you give a rabbit or guinea pig a loving new home?
Taking on responsibility for any pet is a big commitment that needs to be
given careful thought and consideration. These considerations include:
When you adopt a rabbit, you are required to make a minimum donation of £20. This helps contribute towards some of the costs involved in housing, feeding and veterinary treatment, and helps us to continue on our work helping other stray and abandoned animals in need of care.
As an Adopter, you must be over 18 years of age, and not been convicted on an animal cruelty offence. Your responsibilities include:
If you are interested then please contact us. It is useful if you use our online pre-adoption form as it tells us a little bit about your needs, experience and circumstances. You can pull up the form by clicking HERE or access it via our 'Contact us' page.
You may not feel able to take on the responsibility of adoption, but you may still want to help one of the rescued rabbits. You may wish to consider sponsoring one of our long-term residents - click HERE to find out more.
Bertie and Bassett |
BERTIE and BASSETT are two lovely litter brothers, aged approximately 14 weeks old. They were found abandoned, so we don't know their exact age. They are very sweet, friendly and loving rabbits - and very handsome too! They must stay together as they adore each other. Don't forget - rabbits can live until they are 14 years old, if you can't make such a long commitment please don't get a rabbit. |

Posy and Petal |
POSY (brown) and PETAL (white and brown) are 16 week old litter sisters. They are very friendly rabbits who came into Pipkin Rabbit Rescue after rough handling from the 2 year old child in their previous home - a very good example as to why rabbits and young children are not a good mix. Understandably, they were a little nervous at first, but they are now friendly and inquisitive bunnies. They must stay together as they adore each other. Don't forget - rabbits can live until they are 14 years old, if you can't make such a long commitment please don't get a rabbit. our gallery |

Cookie |
COOKIE is an adorable dwarf lop. He was picked up as a stray so we don't know how old he is, but I would estimate he is about 1 year old. When he was found he had to have a dental under general anaesthetic due to spurs on his back teeth, so it is quite probable that he will need dental treatment throughout his life. Don't forget, rabbits can live for 14 years. my gallery |

DANDY is 11 months old and lives with BUNTY. They must be rehomed together as they adore each other and need to stay together. Don't forget, rabbits can live for 14 years. |

Bunty |

BUNTY is two and a half years old. She lives with DANDY and must stay with him as they are fully bonded and love to cuddle up together. Bunty is a little bit nervous of being handled but has never shown any signs of aggression. Don't forget, rabbits can live for 14 years. my gallery |

Bonnie and Clyde |
Bonnie and Clyde are 6 year old brother and sister buns. Clyde is neutered, he can be a little bit nervous but Bonnie is very nervous and this shows as agression. She will need a patient and experienced owner to give her the love and time that she needs to build her confidence up. Bonnie and Clyde muct be rehomed together.Bonnie is in the top photo, and Clyde is the bottom bun! Don't forget, rabbits can live till they are 12 to 14 years old. our gallery |
